Using the CSI/Linkpoint gateway the shopper gets an Internal Server Error.

I am using the Cardservice International/Linkpoint credit card processing gateway in my ShopSite v6.x store, and some customer are experiencing an Internal Server Error when clicking on Finalize Order from the checkout screen, what can I do about this?

This error will occur when using the Cardservice International/Linkpoint payment gateway if the shopper did not fill in the country field. The quickest solution is to follow the online help recommendation and configure ShopSite to use a pull-down list for the country. The other option is to apply the patches mentioned below.

ShopSite v6.1.1 merchants should obtain patches from the shopsite ftp site for the shopping cart CGIs (program files). The patches should only be applied to v6.1.1. Merchants running earlier versions such at 6.0 should first upgrade to 6.1.1 and then apply the patches.

Linux, Solaris/SPARC, and FreeBSD servers will need the following files:

order.cgi
thankyou.cgi
libsscommon.so.1

Irix, and BSDI servers will need the following files:

order.cgi
billing.cgi
thankyou.cgi
ref.cgi

Note that ShopSite v6.2 already has the appropriate fixes and does not need to be patched.
