Setting up shipping based on zone (ie: zip-code regions or similar to UPS shipping).

If I want to use shipping by zone or region, is there a way to do this in ShopSite?

Version 4.x and 5.x:

Access the Shipping Section in the back office through Commerce Setup > Shipping and choose "Shipping by Weight." Fill in the weight categories. The columns are the zones. The corresponding prices for each weight range should be entered in each column. To change the column labels (shipping options the customer will see), change the fields under Preferences > Store Text > Shipping.

Note that the total number of ranges for weight will be limited by the number of rows available. The total number of zones allowed will be limited by the columns.


Version 6.x:

ShopSite Version 6 includes integration with the UPS Rates & Service Selection selection tool, in both ShopSite Manager and Pro (NOT in Starter). The setup is under Commerce Setup -> Shipping and requires registration with UPS (handled through the ShopSite interface).
