What payment method are you using?
If the receipt does not include product information the email receipt is not being sent from ShopSite. Some gateways allow you to send the shopper an email receipt from the gateway itself. Since ShopSite only sends payment information to the payment gateways and not product info they don't have product info to put on the receipt.
Also some gateways never return to ShopSite so there is no way to know if an order was completed or not. In these cases the gateway sends an payment notification back to ShopSite but it might be some time after the shopper completed the transaction. So no email receipt can be sent from ShopSite in this case.
