Adding a Contact Or Blog Page

Is there any Template pages that can be brought into shopsite 10.00 that would give me a blog or contact page for awesome_orange template?

There is no blog or Contact page for any theme in ShopSite. But you can still use whatever one you would like for a blog or Contact page.

For a Contact page just put your content in the Page Text 1, Text 2, Text 3 fields for the contact type page. Give it a page name of Contact Info or Contact or something similar and assign it to be a link on other pages just like a regular page so people can get to it.

For a blog you can just create blog type posts using the products feature and turn off display of fields like Price, Name etc on the Products > Edit Product Layout. Or you could make a copy of the product templated and remove the items you don't want to display and then just use that for blog posts. You would assign the blog "products" to a page just like you would normal products and they would be displayed when you publish the page.
