Why does my error_log have so many "script not found or unable to stat: /home/cgi-bin/sc/none" errors?

Product: SC
Version: 5.0.x
Platform: Unix

I've found multiple entries in my store's error_log similar to:

"[date time] [error] [client IP] script not found or unable to stat: /home/cgi-bin/sc/none "

Is there a problem with my ShopSite configuration?

In ShopSite 5.0.x, when no background image is set in Commerce Setup > Order System (sbconfig.cgi), the final customer receipt screen, thankyou.cgi, puts background="none" into the BODY tag. This causes the Web server to make a request for "none" from the shopping cart (sc) directory. Since this is usually a script-aliased directory, the Web server tries to execute a file called "none," which doesn't exist. This error message is then entered in the error_log.
The message is entered for every order in every store that doesn't use a background image in the cart. While it doesn't interfere with ShopSite processing or the buyer's checkout experience, it does result in very large error_log files. This is not a problem with your ShopSite configuration and no changes are required. This will be corrected in the next release of ShopSite.
