Attempting to Search on Product Causes Server Error

Product: Shopsite SC
Version: 4.x and 5.X
Platform: Cobalt RAQ (Linux)

When trying to do a search for a product that you know exists, ShopSite responds with:

Search Error (500) Internal Server Error

When you search for a product that doesn't exist in their store, you get a valid response.

For Cobalt RAQ (Linux), check if ShopSite is using the dynamic version of productsearch.cgi (found in the Shopping Cart, sc or bo) program.
If ShopSite is dynamic, try replacing the dynamic version of productsearch.cgi with the static version of productsearch.cgi.

This should cause it to work properly.
