Problem upgrading to 5.0 version on BSDI platform

When you try to run the upgrade to 5.0 version, it checks the permissions and then just hangs there. Does not say upgrade completed or error or anything.

The problem is caused by not having write permission in the install directory. One of following can be done to resolve the problem:1)An easier solution would be that if wwwinstall.cgi dies
during the permissions check, correct the permissions on the install
directory.

2)There is an wwwinstall.cgi patch available on our ftp site to fix this problem. A link to the latest information for obtaining and applying the patch may be found in solution S03704
