Why is the wrong item showing up in the cart when a buyer adds a Cross-Sell product from a More Info page? (regen.cgi patch)

When a shopper orders a Cross-Sell product from a More Info Page, the parent product is put in the shopping cart instead of the Cross-Sell product. How can I fix this?

Solution ID: S04186

A regen.cgi patch was created to correct this problem. The patch should be used to replace the existing file in the ss directory.
