If the global.aa file is not found, all CGIs produce a script error.

If the global.aa file (located in the ss directory) is not found, all ShopSite CGIs will produce a script error. As an example of an error received, the following may be displayed when attempting to access a CGI such as start.cgi:

"Server Error

This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server's error log."

Solution ID: S04103

The global.aa file cannot be removed or made inaccessible in a 4.3 store. To correct, check to make sure the file exists in the ss directory and that the permissions are set correctly.
A fix is anticipated to be included in the next release of ShopSite, due early Q4 2000.
