Can I change Publish functionality if I Edit/Reset Image Attributes so that all of the store's pages aren't regenerated?

All of a store's pages are regenerated during a Publish when using the Edit or Reset Image Attributes feature. In a large store with many pages, the publish lag may be an issue if you're trying to make multiple edits and then view each small change directly in your ShopSite page.

A work-around is to do initial edits in an external image editor. You'll quickly get a feel for how the sizes will appear in the ShopSite generated pages once you've worked with the height and width of a few images. You may then upload images that require fewer edits within ShopSite.
This concern has been logged and will be taken into account during any changes to the Image Attribute features in future releases.
