Unable to open file ./ssm_tmp/receipt.b for writing!, NT/Windows 2000/2003

When placing an order on an NT server, you get the error:

Unable to open file ./ssm_tmp/receipt.b for writing!
Solution ID: S03136

This is a permissions problem that occurs as ShopSite tries to send the e-mail receipts. To fix this:

1. From the NT server, open up NT Explorer and browse to your shopping basket directory.

2. Pull up the permissions on the shopping basket directory (Right-click, then click on Properties, then select the Security tab).

3. The permissions on this directory need to be set so that the merchant user (this is the user that you log into the back office as) as well as the anonymous internet user (IUSR_) both have Change access.

4. Check the box that says "Replace permissions on subdirectories?", then click on OK.

This should fix the problem.
