Can ShopSite work in conjuction with an HTML editor (FrontPage, Home Page, Page Mill, NetObjects Fusion, etc)?

Yes, it can, and there are several ways to do it.

The Create Links feature was created especially for this purpose. This feature allows you to cut and paste the HTML code for the Order button of a product into your HTML editor of choice. For more information on using this feature, search for "Create Links" in our on-line help section.

Also, remember that you can enter in HTML code into any of the text fields that ShopSite uses. So you can create HTML through your editor and then paste it into a ShopSite text field. Remember, however, that ShopSite is going to create the , , and <body> tags for you, so it's not a good idea to paste these tags into the text fields. Also, all of the ShopSite text fields are automatically inserted into HTML <table> tags, so be very careful that any table tags that you paste in are closed in that same text field.<br /><br />The one thing that you can't do is create pages through ShopSite, then download the static html page and edit it.
