Can I set the order number to start at a specific number?

Yes. There is a file in the store's ShopSite Data Directory (you can find the path to this directory listed at the bottom of the Preferences -> Hosting Service screen) called ordernum. This is a text file that contains the last order number used.

You can edit this file and set the order number to the number immediately preceding the number you want your orders to start at. For example, the default number is 1234, so the first ShopSite order would normally be 1235. If you would like to start your orders at 10000, then in the ordernum file you would place the number 9999
